ENRAGED PEOPLE READING: Virtual Book Club pt. 1

Enraged People Reading is a virtual book club intended to be an inclusive space that brings together action-driven individuals committed to social justice, equity, and civic engagement. Each month, we dive into works of (mostly) minority and LGBTQ authors, explore banned books, and reflect on historical struggles against fascism. With a focus on proactive ways to combat oppression, our discussions aim to inspire reflection, action, and community building—especially during times of political upheaval. Let's read, learn, and fight for a more just world together.  

Our first book is Caste by Isabel Wilkerson. The first meeting will be more focused on introductions and ideal formats for discussion. We will check in about the book, but plan to discuss again more in-depth in our April 14th meeting.
